Hope and a Future: Gala 2025

Have you ever felt so overwhelmed by troubles that the future seemed hopeless? Many women who come to Alpha Women’s Center’s mobile medical clinics are in that dark place, but when they encounter compassionate care and the love of Jesus, they discover “a hope and a future” (Jer 29:11). From our mobile clinics, Alpha Women’s Center offers help and hope to Twin Cities women with unintended pregnancies and wraps around them with holistic care and support. Join us to celebrate the lives transformed by hope at our annual Gala dinner and auction.

We invite you to join us on Thursday, April 24, to hear more about how Alpha is meeting the needs of women in crisis, and how our mobile clinics are saving and changing lives. You'll hear the incredible testimony of Melissa Ohden, an abortion survivor who met and forgave her birth mother, and you'll enjoy a fantastic dinner and lively auction, all while showing your support for our life-affirming work.

We will gather to celebrate at Hazeltine National Golf Club for dinner, a live auction, encouragement, and an opportunity to join Alpha's mission.

Doors open for social hour at 5:30 pm, with dinner seating at 6:30.

Cocktail/business attire.

This event sells out every year, so get your tickets early!

Melissa Ohden

Keynote Speaker

Life empowers women, not abortion, and Melissa is one of likely tens of thousands of abortion survivors who exemplify this. Melissa is the survivor of a failed saline infusion abortion, but like every survivor, she is so much more than a survivor.

Melissa Ohden is the Founder and Director of The Abortion Survivors Network and The Abortion Survivors Network Education and Policy Center, the only healing and advocacy organization for abortion survivors and their families worldwide.

She is a Master’s level prepared Social Worker and the author of the award-winning book featuring her life story, You Carried Me: A Daughter's Memoir and co-author of Abortion Survivors Break Their Silence.

Melissa is a frequent contributor to pro-life and conservative news outlets and a regular guest on radio and television programs around the world. Although Melissa’s heart is for providing help and hope to all affected by abortion, she also strives to humanize the unborn and abortion survivors through activism. She has testified before Congressional committees numerous times.

Melissa and her family reside in Kansas City, Missouri.
